20 Rep Squats: A Road to Injury?

i do 20 rep squats every week and im yet to have a injury apart from projectile vomiting lol

i just started this program and beside from the soreness in my legs i feel my knees are benefiting.

I actually just had this happen last week on a set of 20 rep squats. For me, it was just because that last rep was so tough I drove really hard to get that weight up and I must have been tensing my neck backwards. I definitely wasn’t looking way up or anything but I think I was trying to call on any last bit of strength to get that weight up.

Afterwards I had to make a slow descend to the floor to relax my head while lying down for awhile. It definitely didn’t feel good. After a short rest though it went away and I’ve not felt pain since.
