2 days rest b/w workouts?

I just started phase II of kings “Super Strength” program. In between days A & B I do a maintenance day for lower body. However this day includes heavy deadlifting. And I’ve noticed that I’m still pretty sore after 2 days of rest b/w all workouts. Would it be ok to rest 2 days b/w all workouts? Or should I stick with the conventional 1 day rest?
My gym schedule looks like this:

Day 1: Workout A
Day 2: Rest
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Lower body & heavy deadlifts
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Workout B

Is this ok, or to much rest?
