Yeah, I think that’s Y. Vardanian. I’ve read about his stats (non lifting), and this man could suceed in virtually any sport.

Just to show you how explosive he was, he had a vertical jump of 65 cm with 50% of his BW (meaning he (82.5kg BW) + 50% of that).

He also had a broad jump well over 3m (somewhere along the lines of 3,6m, not sure, as I don’t know where I have the book, in which those stats are).

His 100m dash was under 11 s.

Ah the good ol’ days of cold-war communist weightlifting, when men were men and women kept thier mouths shut. When world-records were broken every contest and everybody hated each other. Gawd I feel old.
