Not sure what you mean but I never enjoy reps. I was getting out of breath with 135x10s on squat yesterday so I keep it heavy cause I would rather hit 335x4 instead of 225x20 or 275x10 on bench for example
Its still not great but I feel it will heal up. Like right now it would probably give me problems squatting 315 but I wont be hitting that or more till next week. I'm just hoping I don't lose strength while I get back up. And it kind of screwed me on the numbers I'd like to hit for the comp. I might not beak 1600 this time.
Back felt much better today. Hit some light squats and heavy decline bench. tomorrow I'll be kettle bell benching I haven't been keeping up with it but its great for my shoulders no problems now but I want to keep it that way.
barx10, 135x10, then sets of 5 adding 20 lbs each set up to 295 and pausing the reps over 195.
Went 135x10, 225x10, 295x5, 350x5- was slow and guy kind of stole the top of it. 375x2, 395x1

Worked up to a paused 360 on flat bench
Then a drop set of 320x4 paused. Also slowly adding weight to squat hit 365x5 today

True, prob bc most people dont wanna sit in a stand when its 90 something degrees out. I usually hunt public land but havent had much success with it. Not sure about NJ but seems like a lot of people deer hunt in SC and most public spots get filled up quick.. too much pressure makes the deer go nocturnal within the first week
I'm hoping no body wants to go in there. There are a lot of seed ticks and its hard to find areas open enough to shoot

Thought my back was 100% for the most part sad to say I don't think I can compete in nov. Unracked 425 today and had Painful tightness that wont go away. not as bad as last time but not good. Rather then hit a token 500lb squat snd risk screwing myself I'm going to just shoot for feb. Up until two weeks ago I really felt I'd hit 1600 then last week still thought I'd manage a pretty solid total. But with this its just not going to happen. Dropped the weight down and hit a hard set 315x20 beltless. Going to take it slower getting into heavy weight. Bench and deadlift are still strong. Pause benched 350x2 today after 320x6 tng.
