17 Minute Growth Surge

So far i really like 30-10-30 …I’m seeing great results with it even at 58 years of age…so maybe later i will try 17 minute growth surge a few months down the road…what I like about both programs is you’re in and out of the gym a lot faster

I have tried the routine before and it is challenging. Now full confession I never make it to 60 seconds but I use that is a carrot to push me during the set. Basically for me it is a negative as long as I can possible go before moving on to the drop set. I also make sure my 1 rep max is a controlled movement and not try to make it ballistic press or pull. Dr. D’s old friend Big Jim ??? (can’t remember his last name) was training dozens of trainees with this method. If I remember correctly, it was only done for a period of 2-3 weeks and 4-6 training sessions. It was meant as a plateau buster for weight progression, as much as anything.
I actually tried it on a few movements and no death or grievous harm ensued…
