then front squats but didn’t hit what I wanted cause I got a bad setup and figured I’d move on

Did some back squat and decline bench today

Squat went
135x10, 225x8, 315x1, 405x1, 475x1, 550x1
Then paused 495 for two singles about 3 seconds.

decline went
135x10, 225x8, 315x4, 365x3, 390x1

Body weight is consistently about 184 so shouldn’t have to cut much if any if I can continue to stay away from the take out.

Hit front squat today and some bench and kettle bell bench

Front squat went
135x10, 225x8, 295x4, 355x3, 375x1

bench went
135x10, 225x8, 275x4, 315x2, 355x2, missed 375 paused.

Kettle bell bench was 3 sets of 15 with 32kgs each side

Body weight was up a bit at 188 today

Hit heavy paused bench and back squat today

Squat went
135x10, 225x8, 315x3, 405x1, 475x5 - wanted 6 but got a bit forward on the first rep

Paused bench went good, started pauses at 275
135x10, 225x8, 275x4, 315x4, 335x1, 355x1, 370x1

Widened my bench grip about 3/4" per side so it allows me to get a lot more back involvement. But only doing that width for comp style bench to save my shoulders

Hit some heavy decline bench, front squats and kettle bell bench

Decline went
135x10, 225x8, 275x4, 315x4, 365x3, 405x1, 315x8

Front squats
135x10, 225x6, 295x4, 345x3- had one more but weight was slipping off my shoulder

Kettle bell bench was 4 sets of 12 with 32kg per side

Looking to pull conventional Tomorrow for the first time since feb will be going high 500s maybe 600+ depending how I feel

Didn’t stick to my plan today. Don’t know how I’ll pull for this upcoming meet but hit semi sumo today with soar legs up to a 3 rep pr Then a few singles conventional and some close grip bench

245x5, 335x3, 425x1, 515x1, 605- miss at lock out, but to be fair I put a lot of effort into my 610x3

Damn dude. I’m only a couple pounds heavier than you, and your lifts are making me feel weak!
Inspirational lifting though. Gives me something to strive for.

Called squats early today cause I had a cramp in my back unracking 405, but paused bench went great hit a new best just a few days after moving my grip out slightly to allow my back to get involved.

Bench went ( singles were paused)
135x10, 225x5, 275x4, 315x1, 355x1, 380x1.

Best gym lifts as of recent are 560/380/640 at between 185-188 body weight.

Screwed myself a bit dicking around in the gym. Back is not feeling to great. Really need to stick with my own lifts training with others doing stuff I’m not used to killed my back. I’m about 9 weeks out and going to see how it feels by the weekend and figure out if I’ll be able to compete or not. A similar thing happened at my feb comp I got real sick 8 weeks out and had to bust my ass to get back on track and didn’t get where I was planning to be.

Did hit decline yesterday up to 410

Back felt a bit better today possibly will be ok to start squating next week. Just hit some bench and accessories today

Back seems to be healing up good. Just been squatting the bar, leg press and benching. So comp is still a go for me looking to open 495/315/585
going to make a larger jump on bench about 355-360

bench today was just up to 315x6 and a single with 375. Rather than try to go 315x7 its burning me out I’m going to up the weight for 6.

Dude, you just go heavy every damn day don’t you? Lol

Yea. Some times I say I’m going to go light then still end up in the 90+% range. I just never get sore so I always feel like pushing it.

135x10, 225x12, 275x4 (paused last set) wasn’t really into it but no pain in my back so thats good
