My next meet is nov 11 I believe. I’m looking for a big pull in the next 3 weeks or so. Going to be fun

Took it a bit easy today. Front squats and bench.
Front squats went
135x10, 225x8, 295x6, 335x2

bench was with a thicker bar.
135x10, 225x10, 295x7, 325 paused 2

heres a video from yesterday triples with 475. Aside from set 3 they seemed like they moved better than they felt

Hit squats and decline bench today

Squats went
135x10, 225x8, 315x3, 405x1, 485 4 sets of 2

decline bench went
135x10, 225x8, 295x4, 355x3, 390x1

Hit some accessory work and a good heavy paused bench

Bench went
135x10, 225x8, 295x2 long pause, 345x1 long pause, 370x1 normal pause

Pulled today but headphones kept cutting off so thats all I really did. After the first set I used a pair of 100lb plates so I could work to an even 605 with all the rest 45 plates.

Sets went
135x10, 245x8, 335x3, 425x2, 515x1, 605x3 fairly easy but wouldnt get a 4th. Then 605x2, and was going to go 610x2 but after the first rep the weight pulled me forward, So only 1.

next week will possibly be an attempt at a double with 5lbs more than my best single. And the following week will be a 640-650 pull

Light front squat just 225 for a few. And close grip bench with chains. chains are 45lb total. But I am only using roughly 2/3 of them.

135x10, 225x8, 275x5, 315x1. Then took off the chains and hit an easy double with 325

Hit some squats and some kettle bell bench

Squats felt pretty solid

kettlebell bench was 3 sets of 12 with 34kg per side.

I’ve started eating healthier ( normally ate take out twice a day) and the last few days have been lifting pretty well so well see how things continue

Not to happy with today. I had to bump my deadlift day to today since I will have to work a long day tomorrow, I wanted to give my legs a break today and pull tomorrow. Well I went for 630x2 keep in mind my best single was 625, hit one not to bad just the second one wasn’t there today. However the 630 went up easy enough that its def not an all out max. Then hit a paused deadlift with 585 and hook grip cause I was pissed off.

Random question - how often if ever do you pull opposite stance?

I pull conventional leading into comp. They are usually very similar though if I get comfortable enough with hook grip I may pull semi sumo come nov. But training with it really helps with my squat, when I switch back to conventional I have a tendency to let my knees cave in on squats.
