135x10, 225x6, 315x3, 405x1, 455 for 3 sets of 5. All these reps are making my legs tired haha. Going to be trying for 600 for reps on deadlift soon

Took it easy today working up to a heavy triple on decline.
Sets were 135x10, 225x10, 295x5, 370x3.

Did some paused front squats and some fairly heavy pause bench today
Squats went 135x10, 225x10(last 5 paused) 275x5 paused, 315x3 paused

Bench went
135x10, 225x8, 295x3 long pause, 340x3 tng, 360x1 3 sec pause and 365x1 3 second pause.

Wasn’t a bad day, but I was outside for about 4 hours swapping accessories onto a new block. So didn’t eat to good or drink enough water but I’m happy with the numbers. Body weight today was 187

I hit some reps with 455 today on squat
Sets went 135x10, 225x10, 315x3, 405x1, 455 2 sets of 6. Was surprisingly easy. First set I could have definitely hit 8 reps. Second set felt like I still had one rep in the tank

Hit some deads today and decline. Decline bench went shity but deads were on point today. Sets were
135x10, 225x8, 315x3, 405x1, 495x1, 600x3. Didnt bring my video camera today maybe I’ll get a vid of a heavy double or single next week. On the first rep my back just locked in and the first two reps were pretty easy. Last one was kind of slow.

Decline was really bad probably tired from deadlift but sets went
135x10, 135x10, 225x10, 295x5, 375x1 missed the second rep

Did some front squats and a good set of reps on bench.
Front squats went 135x10, 225,8, 295x5, 345x2

bench went 135x10, 135x10, 225x6, 275x3, 315x6

Hit some volume work on squats wanted 455 for3 sets of 6. But some girl got right in my way and pissed me off but heres a clip from today

Huge lifts man, are your workouts purely the squats (front and back), bench (flat and decline) and deadlifts or are you mixing in a bunch of accessory lifts that you just don’t bother recording? Just curious! Whatever you are doing is working.

Thanks. And yea I do other accessory work but don’t bother to post it for the most part, Aside from the front squats and decline. I’ve only done 2 weeks of higher volume and already looking forward to some heavy weight

Hit some close grip bench today and some dumbbells
Close grip sets were. 135x10, 185x10, 235x10, 275x5, 315x2

dumbbell bench went 95x10, 110x10, 125x8

Worked up to a heavy 3x3 today. I really hate any form of volume. Last week was a total of 44 reps in three days. Give me a heavy single or double any day instead of this.

decline went 135x12, 225x10, 295x6, 340x4, 375x1, guy stole my second rep as I was coming up. This is why I have certain people spot me. Its going to move slow all your doing putting your hands closer to the bar is pissing me off and making me try and out run you which f’s me up. Big day coming going for 620x2 on deadlift I think monday. Its not going to me fun after the comp when I switch back to a stiff bar. But for now pulling with a deadlift bar is making me feel like a god.

Just saw results haaack vs gibbs haack totaled 813kg and gibbs totaled 790.5kg. I’m wondering what they weighed in at.

Hit a huge pull pr for me today my best ever double was 600 with a normal bar. I’ve been training with a deadlift bar the last 5weeks or so. And been doing great. Top set today was 620x2. almost felt like I had one more left but didn’t want to push it.
Sets went 135x10, 225x7ish, 315x3, 405x2, 515x1, 620x2

And hit some close grip.
135x12, 225x8, 275x3, 315x3, 335x1, 345xmiss - back flattened as I drove off the chest and lost it. Hit it on the next try cause I knew I had it.

Haha thanks. I actually train with a semi sumo stance but pull conventional for comps. Though I tried sumo and it is harder to break the floor but I barely have to get the bar over my knees to lock it. I knew my monkey arms were good for something. 68" tall and I think last time I measured my armspan it was 71-72"

Is there a particular reason for training this way? I personally do the exact opposite, not that that means much. Most of my training is done conventional and I’ll swap over to semi sumo if I’m doing a meet.

It takes pressure off my lower back so I can pull more often along with helps me work on keeping my knees out for when I squat and brings up my squat. I usually switch cause its unconformable if I use over under grip my under side elbow hits my thigh and pushes the bar out. Thats why I use the straps or hook grip for the most part.
