Should I put KG conversions for all my weights?

Careful with beltless yoke walks. It’s often overlooked just how nasty they can be on the low back. If you’re gonna train beltless, do it light and for speed. I’ve basically ruined my low back for weeks, sometimes months, being negligent and trying to prove something.

It’s just one of those events where a belt is just almost always needed. Otherwise, strong as usual. I’m also implementing the slow tempo RDL’s courtesy of Licis. Met him at nationals this year, super cool guy. He was helping reposition the yokes for the athletes. I remember seeing him prop up a 720lb yoke all casually to get it in place and then put the back of his hand on his low back and laugh. He’s such a goof.

Thanks man, luckily I didn’t hurt anything. Martins does seem like a genuinely nice and funny kind of dude, I’m almost positive him and Hafthor will be the new rivals of the sport of strongman

If you like. Makes it easier for us European guys. Although I have been getting used to your weird weights.

Really strong work on the rdls ans yoke walks. Those are some serious weights man!

What is your opinion on Beltless training for an extended period of time? I can move almost the same weight belt off as I can belt on. The only thing I’m throwing the belt on for is Strongman Events. My Obliques and Abs have to work more to keep me stable but I can’t move as much weight… Is it worth the Trade-off?
