10x3 Experiences

Can anyone give me there experiences on Chad Waterbury’s 10 x 3 training program? Did it work etc…

I didn’t like the constant rep range. I like to start out pretty high (20 reps, near max) and work my way up to doubles and triples, with singles every couple of weeks. That way, I get a very thorough warmup and work on endurance and power.

You have to experiment and find what’s best for you.

It’s a good change if you are doing a lot of 3x10 or something similar. I find it to be more of a metabolic conditioning workout than a strength workout.

I got better results with Waterbury’s SOB training… easy enough to do at home in a small space and the effects were very evident in my case.
