1 Year on TRT, Still Can't Manage E2?

Your estrogen is likely skyrocketed due to high dose.

I’m not a fan of daily shots for that reason.

For me, daily had the effect of increasing e2.

I would reduce down to about 12-16 mg a day and see how you feel in a few weeks.

You need to reduce your dosage to 12-14 daily and stop everything else and dial-in on TRT in isolation. You are on a daily protocol so that you don’t have to use an AI, that’s the point of a daily protocol, to minimize T->E2 conversion by cutting down the total weekly dose.

Will do. If my E2 comes back normal and I still feel low energy, should I consider lowering my TSH through medication? My free T3 and T4 are high, but my TSH is also high, which is odd since they’re supposed to have an inverse relationship.

You next move will depend on whether or not rT3 is elevated, more T4 will increase rT3. T3 is needed if rT3 is high. I would also check T4.

Recently my T4 was 1.71, T3 was 4.0. And a test a few months ago showed my rT3 at 21.3, however, at the time my TSH was at 2.070 instead of 3.39.

No ranges, no clue. I think you may be confusing fT4 with T4. T3 is not the same thing as fT3.

Normally when I see fT4 and fT3 on the higher end of the ranges, I expect to see rT3 high as well.

Recent labs:
T4 is 1.71 ng/dL. 0.82-1.77
Triiodothyronine (T3), Free 4.0 pg/mL. 2.0-4.4
TSH 3.390 uIU/mL. 0.450-4.500

A few months ago:
TSH 2.070 uIU/mL. 0.450-4.500
Reverse T3, Serum 21.3 ng/dL. 9.2-24.1
Triiodothyronine (T3), Free 3.6 pg/mL. 2.0-4.4
