I want to test my 1 rep max in the squat, Deadlift, and Bench press. I need to know how I should go about working up to my 1 rep max. I have a 1RM calculator so I have a general Idea of what my 1RM might be, but those things are never right on.
Also, I haven’t done a standard barbell bench press in over 3 months so I have no Idea where to even start with that. Do you have any suggestions about a starting weight with my bench press? I could decline close grip bench press 195x5, And I’m incline dumbell pressing 95x3 for 15 total reps.
It’s been years since I maxed out on anything so any suggestions would help.
