1 leg reverse hyper

I know mr simmons has rehabed back to world class lifts with the reverse hyper after 3 fractured vertebre… I was wondering if a 1 leg version of the exercise (1 leg at a time) serves as good rehab for back injuries? The place i go to does not have a reverse hyper bench. Im not sure if the substituted exercises (eg. romanian/SL deads, GHR etc rehab as well as the RH)

any info?
thanks

If you are rehabing you need to train your brain with the proper motor pattern

the movement pattern on the one leg rervse hyper is this:

  1. hamstring
  2. glute
  3. opposite side erector spinae
  4. that side errector spinae

GS,
Could you go into more detail on your last post?
