Low T and Clomid

I am 48 and have been on t cypionate for a few years and never saw my levels get above 400. My urologist last year offered to put me on clomid. I agreed and I immediately had crazy erections and morning wood that I have not had in years. I felt better for about 8 months. I began having some very mild stomach issues and just did not feel well. I began losing erections and libido. I started experiencing hot flashes and some night sweats as well. I went to my doctor this week and am waiting for blood work results. Does this sound like my estrogen levels are high? I think I am better off on shots than clomid? Any help is appreciated
